The Media Center for Art, Education & Technology (MCAET) is a programming channel located in Monterey County that brings the news, the arts, culture & sports right to your screen! MCAET TV is produced with the contributions of experienced students, which broadcasts content relating to news, documentaries, sports, animation, and electronic gaming.

MCAET TV has created and presented a selection of entertainment programs to their audience. John Michael’s Rockbox, which creates a spotlight for local music talent from the Monterey area, and a special series “Short Sighted”, which features animation from artists across the world. MCAET TV is also in the process of producing a joint project with Millennium Charter High School, which allows for the integration of journalism and broadcasting into the school’s unique curriculum. Stay tuned for updates about the airdates of this new series that examines our local history.

MCAET is a department of MCOE (Monterey County Office of Education), and seeks to provide students with unique opportunities. Tom Torlakson, the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, referred to MCAET studios as one of “The Best in the State”. The Career Technical Education division has also named MCAET and the Millennium Charter High School one of eight statewide “Career Education Demonstration Sites”.
