Colour In Your Life is an Australian produced television series. Host Graeme Stevenson is a world renowned artist himself. Graeme rides his Harley Davidson to the studios of artists all over the world and gives viewers a chance to go into the art studios of some of the greatest artists in the world. Episode 52: The Three Amigos- Alvaro Castagnet is one of the world’s most highly respected watercolor artists. His paintings are imbued with a mood, a mystery that engage and lure the viewer into the magic. He is an expressive painter. He exhibits a strong, impressive and colorful style with superb interpretation of light effects that capture the soul of places he paints. Joseph Zbukvic is a leading master of watercolour medium of his time. His impressive achievements and enormous success is due to his ability to transform any subject into visual poetic language. Covering an infinite variety of subjects, his sensitive, lyrical and atmospheric paintings have captured people and galleries from all around the world. Herman is an artist of energy and enthusiasm. He is able to see a painting in almost any subject matter and is capable of producing award winning work in oil, watercolour or gouache. He produces paintings of strong design and powerful impact – every brushstroke vibrant and visible. The scope of Herman’s work has ranged from dynamic industrial scenery to soft, draped interiors and broad Australian landscapes, which indicates the creatively fearless nature of this unique artist.

Episode 53: Lucy McCann- Lucy McCann is an incredibly talented watercolour artist who, along with her husband Barry, teaches art classes in beautiful Armidale. Lucy has returned for a second episode with Colour In Your Life, though this time, it’s with the beautiful Free Flow products of Chroma! Lucy studied fashion and dress design at The National Art School which gave her the grounding in draftsmanship and design. She won a scholarship to model with June Dally-Watkins and continued to model with the agency while designing clothing and accessories with the fashion design label, Cue. She has been a teacher of art for 12 years, here in Australia, New Zealand and Italy.

Episode 54: Barry McCann- Barry was born in 1962 in Armidale NSW Australia, where he now lives with his wife Lucy, also a full time artist. Together they run McCann Fine Art, producing, selling and teaching art. Barry’s interest in art emerged as a young adult during school and it became very advantageous in his trade as a Chef and cake decorator. It wasn’t until he enrolled in the Canberra School of Arts in an introductory course in watercolour that his appetite for art began. He stumbled upon a book about the life and works of John Singer Sargent and this has influenced him ever since. He has studied with many leading artists and in 2000 he began painting fulltime.

Episode 55: Adrienne Williams- Adrienne Williams is a landscape painter represented by Red Hill Gallery. At the heart of her work is her passion for wild places and the natural beauty of the bush. Her practice involves totally immersing herself in the landscape, in its cycles of changing light, weather and mood, making extended sketching trips into the bush. Back in the studio those photographs, sketches and rock rubbings inspire drawings, oil canvasses and collagraphs.

Episode 56: Sue Lederhose- Sue’s inspiration is anything in God’s creation. She loves to paint landscapes, flowers and portraitures, both animal and people. Pastels and various mixed media have been explored. Nothing is out of bounds or off limits! Some of the mediums she uses with watercolour include gouache, acrylic, charcoal, ink, pencils, oil and chalk pastels as well as acrylic textural mediums.
