Created by SVA student Jake Armstrong for his thesis, The Terrible Thing of Alpha-9 is a fantastically illustrated sci-fi short about a misunderstood (and ultimately harmless) monster.

In this lyrical and poetic piece, Carlos Lascano, transforms the world with the help of Lila, a young woman reminiscent of Amélie, who “can’t resign herself to accept reality as flat as she perceives it.”

Amigo tells the story of a friendship between a boy and his living-imagined puppet with whom he immediately establishes a very intense bond.
A young man on an old motorbike struggles to reach a date on time.
A pack of dogs head out for lunch unaware of what’s ahead of them.
A factory worker is living in a fantasy world where things seem to be going well. As the story progresses reality starts to take over.
